Media Arts & Technology Program Overview


This program offers the most comprehensive overview into Media Arts and Technology. Mandatory for all 6-10 yrs students; this program is packed with scores of projects involving a wide array of skills that are needed in the new communication scene. This program introduces you to compositional structures and colour theory. It includes classical and digital illustration involving still life, animal drawing, human anatomy, hand, feet, features and expressions. It also includes 3D art and modelling. This program introduces you to the exciting world of cartooning, character design, storytelling and story boarding. It includes digital background painting, animation and media layouts.


STRIDE Media Arts & Technology Course:

Media Design & Technology (Core): Design and Develop starter level projects in a range of Media & Technology fields;

Key learning areas: Design Fundamentals; Visual Story Telling; Animation, Sound Design

Media Design & Technology (Intermediate): Design and develop intermediate level projects in a range of Media & Technology disciplines;

Key learning areas: Design Fundamentals; Game Design; Architecture; Fashion Illustration

Media Design & Technology (Advanced): Design and develop advanced projects in a range of Media & Technology disciplines;

Key learning areas: Mechatronics; Python; Web Design; Systems development life cycle -learn the (SDLC) process for planning, creating, testing, and deploying an information system;
