Media Arts Courses

Media Arts is a multidisciplinary program which encompasses the field technological arts. Students develop media literacy by explore the components of animation and digital illustration formulas through Photoshop and ToonBoom and watch their characters come alive on screen. Students are exposed to digital perspective drawing and sound animation within the Aftereffects user interface and become artists in their own right by designing their own music video.

This program introduces you to compositional structures and colour theory. It includes classical and digital illustration involving still life, animal drawing, human anatomy, hand, feet, features and expressions. It also includes 3D art and modelling.

This program introduces you to the exciting world of cartooning, character design, story telling and story boarding. It includes digital background painting, animation and media layouts.
