Chess was invented in the second half of the 15th century and originated from England. Chess began being played competitivly in the 18th century. It is one of the most popular games in the world. People play it at home online at clubs etc. Over thousands games of chess are played each day. Over the years people have been creating online chess programs where a human player would verse a A.I computor.

Chess has become an extremely well known game ever the years and has tournaments being hosted all over the world. People who are very good at chess and have won many tournoments are known as Grand Masters or G.M. for short.
