After School Enrichment all year round
Illustrated Books You have a story that’s waiting to be told. Come find your words, illustrate your text and publish your book at the Thinnox Wilder Woods program.
Animation Level 1 You love Koko. Come to the Thinnox Academy to create your unique character, make cutouts and mix it with animated imagery. The end product will be something resembling Koko Out of the Inkwell Series.
Animation Level 2 Immerse yourself in a unique visual experience. Use still photos and cut outs to create an animated montage up to 60 seconds long.
Animation Level 3 Create a character. Make a story board. Make a 2 dimensional animated film using an incredibly easy-to-use software.
Game Design Level 1 You love brick breaker games. Come make your own. Create unique power-ups; design unique paddles; create fantastic shoot lazers and have fun.
Game Design Level 2 You love platform games like Alcazar, Fancy Pants Adventure? Come, create your own platform game. Make a unique character run, jump, flip, swim and find his/her way out of the mansion.
Game Design Level 3 Your space ship just separated from the international space station BOA310X. You are earth bound. Suddenly your space ship is caught in a meteor burst. You have no option but to navigate through or lazer the meteor particles zipping into you. How? Come and create your own online action game this spring and find out how. And once you are done let people around the globe play your game!!

Comfort Factor: The after school hours are between 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. on weekdays and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturdays.
Class Size: Our class sizes are restricted to 6 participants.
Adaptability: Psycho-educational assessments right at the start allows mentors and instructors to understand your learning style and adapt accordingly.
Performance Monitoring: Constructive feedback is an important aspect of how programs are delivered at Thinnox.
Team Dynamics: At THINNOX you learn to depend on each other and contribute to each other’s success.
School Homework Breaks: To help you apply some of the learning from THINNOX programs, supervised breaks are provided at the Academy, for you to catch up on school homework.
Active Mind Active Body: Several group activities take place at regular intervals to keep you active at all times.

Program Overview
Move over Space Invaders. Enter Final Fantasy X. Haven’t our Games changed? And what goes into the making of one? Huge teams, multi-million dollar budgets, several years’ work. So can you make your game at the THINNOX Growing Games program? You bet.
In the Growing Games program at THINNOX you start by analyzing aspects of play, challenge conflict & interactivity. You learn to define overall goals in relation to your subject. You create environments, activities, rules, rewards, pitfalls. Then, using your design blue print & easy to use programming tools, you create a prototype. You learn to mix digital art, game mechanics & audio. You also learn to refine & lock down on the levels. Using 3D modeling software you create & animate models; integrate content, fix bugs & fine tune your game that people would love to try.

industry’s infancy, as early as 1983, for such companies as CBS Software, Gametek,
Hi-Tech Expressions, Merit Software, Arcade Giant Merit Industries, Villa Crespo
Software, Acclaim Entertainment, Hypnotix and American Alpha. His cumulative title
sales have surpassed 10 million copies. He is also an Adjunct Professor at NY University
in Game Design.

Animation Design
Program Overview
The world of Bugs Bunny and Shrek might be unreal, but it is here to stay. THINNOX Design Academy’s 1M Movies program will help you invent and animate 30 to 60 seconds films, using a mix of classical and 3D animation techniques.
The 1MMovies program will involve you in all the major stages of the movie making process. You will learn to integrate graphics, animation, effects and sound early into the program. During the program you will learn to develop scripts into story boards; you will model, rig, detail, and render characters on industry standard software; you will learn the fundamentals of animation, background design, lighting, and texturing. You will learn to edit and assemble and prepare your film for screening at the annual THINNOX movie night, at private venues or at young film makers’ festivals.

director ,visual effects artist. He has been involved in the making of several feature films such as Outlander (Spin), Eye of the Storm (Paramount) & The Santa Claus 2(Disney); television series such as Matrix (CTV), the Doodle Bops (CBC/Disney), Haven & Brain Song (USA Network), World War 3 (Fox), Prince Charming (Hallmark), Babylon 5 Sci fi, Anonymous Rex (Alliance Atlantis), The War Next Door documentaries such as Science of Death & Blasters ( Discovery) & Games such as Dungeons and Dragons – The scourge(Warner Bros). He has taught at the Ryerson Polytechnic University and the Toronto Film School.
Keka Dhar N has been in the digital arts industry for the last twelve years during which she has freelanced as a
fashion illustrator, graphic artist, web designer, and animator in multiple geographies. She graduated from the Toronto Film School. She is widely traveled and has a wide life experience from the several roles she has played. She has worked as a matte artist, 3 D painter, modeler, animator, graphic artist in several projects. She is the co-founder of Thinnox.

Illustrated Books
Porgram Overview
Behind the greatest successes in literature and entertainment lies a good story. The THINNOX Wilder Woods program prepares you to write gripping, fictional or non-fictional stories.
Facilitated by notable writer- illustrators you write and visualize your text. You also publish your work with Wilder Woods Books or any of our affiliate publishing houses. During the program you learn to pitch a story; the nuances of the narrative form; the tools and techniques that writers have used to telling and not-so-telling effect. You learn the fundamentals of characterization. You learn to sketch and illustrate digitally. You learn to work with peers, to make feedback work for you, to edit and revise and perfect your work. You also learn the tricks of the publishing trade from people who have been there and done it before.
Illustrated Books Careers
Careers in illustrated book design are not limited to creative writing only, although that is the most obvious one.
Related careers include content development roles where you research, create and edit content for websites.
Script writing roles in films, TV, games, and business presentations are a natural corollary to creative writing.
Careers in advertising copy writing, electronic or print journalism, public relations and publicity related writing, business and technical writing are some other options.

Graphic Design - Beyond Digital
Program Overview
A picture, they say, is worth a thousand words, perhaps more. How much can an image tell? A lot. What is possible in the world of graphics? Everything! The world of images is getting more real and breathtaking by the minute. With all the new things that cutting edge software has to offer you have new worlds to discover.
The Beyond Digital program at THINNOX prepares you to see things in a new way. Using industry standard software you learn to sketch digitally; you learn the theory behind colors; to work with layers and to create dynamic text. By the end of the program you have a portfolio of digitized images that are unique, durable and impossible to create using any other media. In doing so, you understand the fundamental nature of art; and are able to distinguish between an image that works and one that does not.

in concept development, production art in both traditional and CG . He was the BG
supervisor for Nelvana for over 8 years & has been instructing BG painting at Sheridan
for the BAA program for the past 4 years. Mike is completing a second season of BGs for
Studio B for Class of Titans. Mike also helped develop Beetlejuice, Gargoyles, Magic
School Bus.He is an OCA graduate.
